Please Copy ‘Pediatric Software Installable’ folder from CD to your computer’s Desktop.

Double click the ‘Pediatric Software Installable’ folder on desktop, to view the contents.

Double click ‘IAPPediatricSetup’ file, this will open following window.

Step. 1

Single User Setup

 

 

NOTE: To use software on single machine, please select ‘Single User Setup’ option. To use software on more than one machine, select ‘Multi User Setup’ option and then click ‘Next’ button

 

As specified in note, if you want to use software on single machine, please select 'Single User Setup’ option. To use software on more than one machine, select 'Multi User Setup’ option and then click on 'Next' button.

 

If you have selected ‘Single User Option’ the following screen will open

Step. 2

 

For server machine in a multi user setup, or for the only system in Single user setup, first run server setup and then Driver Setup & Software Setup.

 

 

Note: For server machine, first run server setup and then run driver setup followed by Software Setup

 

For Client machine run Driver Setup and then Software Setup

 

For Server Setup installation help, click on ‘?’ button. The help wizard will guide you through all the steps of MySQL Server installation.

 

Please note that the help shows each and every screen that you would see when you run the actual setup.

 

Open the help file and click on the ‘Run Server Setup’ icon. The help file guides you through each and every step of installation. It shows the screens as you would see on the actual setup. Read the Note at the bottom of help screen and follow the instructions on the actual setup. Do not click on the screen shots on the help. On the help only the ‘Back’, ‘Next’ and ‘Close’ button right above the note work.

 

My SQL Server Installation Help

This first screen in installation wizard is as follows.

 

 

Please click on ‘Next’ Button ‘on the main installation screen’ to start installation.

 

 

 

 

 

Select ‘Complete’ option & click on ‘Next’.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Please click on Install button to install server.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Please wait for installation process to complete. Once installation process is complete, please click on ‘Next’ button.

 

 

 

 

 

Select ‘Skip Sign-Up’ option & Click on ‘Next’ button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Select ‘Configure the MySQL server now’ check box & click on ‘Finish’.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Click on ‘Next’ button to configure MySQL Server.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Select ‘Detailed Configuration’ option & click on ‘Next’ button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Please select ‘Server Machine’ Option & then click on ‘Next’ button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Select ‘Multifunctional Database’ option & click on ‘Next’ button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Please do not modify installation path. Keep the default path & click on ‘Next’ button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Please select ‘Decision Support (DSS)/OLAP’ Option & click on ‘Next’.

 

 

 

 

 

Please select ‘Enable TCP/IP Networking’ & click on ‘Next’ button.

 

 

 

 

 

Please select ‘Standard Character Set’ option & click on ‘Next’ button.

 

 

 

 

 

Please select both the check boxes.

Do not change ‘Service Name’.

Click on ‘Next’ button.

 

 

 

 

 

Please enter New root password=123 & confirm password=123.

 

Select ‘Enable root access from remote machine’ check box.

 

Do not select ‘create an anonymous Account’.

 

Click on ‘Next’.

 

 

 

 

 

Click on ‘Execute’ button to configure MySQL Server Instance.

 

 

 

 

 

Instead of ‘Restart Service’, you may see the ‘Start Service’ option.

 

Once all four options are checked, click on the ‘Finish’ button.

 

This ends MySQL Server setup.

 

 

You would once again see the screen as at the beginning of the process.

 

 

 

 

Setp.3

 

Please click on ‘Run Driver Setup’ icon to install MySQL Driver.

 

This will start the driver setup.

 

 

 

Click ‘Next’ to install driver setup.

 

 

 

 

 

Select ‘Complete’ Option & then click ‘Next’ button.

 

 

 

 

Click on ‘Install’ button to install driver setup.

 

 

 

 

Wait for driver setup installation process.

 

Once it is complete, click on ‘Next’ button.

 

This will successfully install drivers on the machine.

 

 

 

 

 

Click on ‘Finish’ button.

 

You once again return to the main setup screen.

 

Setp.4

 

Please click on ‘Run Software Setup’ button to install software setup.

 

Software setup wizard will guide you through the complete installation process.

 

Now this is the final step for installation on single user machine.

 

For installation on Multi user machine please go through the next steps of instructions.

 

Step.5

 

Multi User Setup option

 

To install software on Network (On Server). Run ‘IAPPediatricSetup’ file

from ‘Pediatric Software Installable’ folder.

 

 

 

If you have selected multi user setup you will see following window.

 

 

 

 

 

Multi User System & Server Machine

 

Select ‘Server Machine’ Option & click on ‘Next’ button.

 

 

 

 

 

Repeat the procedure mentioned in Step 2, Step 3 & Step 4

 

Multi User System & Client Machine

 

To install on client machine in network, again run ‘IAPPediatricSetup’ file

from ‘Pediatric Software Installable’ folder.

 

 

Please select ‘Multi User Setup’ Option & click on ‘Next’ button.

 

 

 

 

Please select ‘Client Machine’ option. This will open ‘Connect with your server’ dialog.

 

Click on ‘Browse’ button near textbox. Browse the file with the name ‘MySQLServer.dll’ on local drive of the server.

 

Note: Please do not try to find this file on local drive of the client machine.

 

After selecting proper file click on ‘Next’ button

 

 

 

 

 

 

Repeat the procedure in Setp 2, Step 3 & Step 4

 

Please restart the computer once installation procedure is complete.

Now you will see a new icon on the desktop for our software
