Namaste and warm greetings to each one of you!

It gives me immense joy and pride to welcome you all to a very special moment in our IAP journey - the launch of our 4th segment under "IAP Ki Baat, Community ke Saath 2.0". Today, we focus on something that touches every breath our children take - "Environment and Child Health."

In this fast-changing world, our little ones are growing up in environments that are often polluted, stressful, and unsafe. As pediatricians, caregivers, and advocates for child health, it is our duty not just to treat illnesses-but to create a world where health begins at home, in schools, on playgrounds, and in the very air they breathe.

We are deeply honoured to have Prof. Dr. Erdenetuya Ganbaatar, an inspiring academic from Mongolia, as our Chief Guest. Her dedication to child health and global learning is truly commendable.

And joining us as Guest of Honour is none other than Dr. H. Paramesh, a pioneer in pediatric pulmonology and a fierce champion of environmental health. His work reminds us that protecting our planet is, in fact, protecting our children.

Dear friends,
With over 47,000 committed pediatricians standing strong, IAP is ready to make a powerful impact—not just within hospital walls but out in our communities, neighbourhoods, and schools. This initiative is not just a campaign. It is a movement. A promise. A legacy we leave behind for every child who deserves to grow up safe, strong, and smiling.

Let us unite once again-not just as pediatricians, but as protectors of childhood and champions of change.

Together, let us build a healthier world for our children - one breath, one step, one smile at a time.
