Dear fellow academicians,

I wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year 2024.

As we all know Indian Academy of Pediatrics, is committed to improvement of the health and wellbeing of all children. It also helps in improving the professional standards of its members, besides supporting its members for facing the challenges inherent in meeting their missions. IAP is an organization that has created a huge impact in health and wellbeing of children. As we continue to increase diversity and inclusiveness for our members our efforts are centered around the mission and vision of the mother body to improve the child care by focusing in research, and service by honoring our skills as pediatricians. CIAP completes its mission and vision through various state, city, specialty chapters. It is a proof that the greater the vision, the more winners it has the potential to attract. Today, our organization has more than 44,000 member pediatricians who create positive impacts in communities.

Each day, we provide experiences and opportunities that are second to none. The cornerstone principles of excellence, accountability, transparency, and service-centeredness guide IAP till this day. Our academy has lived upto the legacy built up over the years by our illustrious predecessors and has always been standing tall with its commitment of its members to the declared mission and goals for bettering child health in the country which allowed us to widen our sprit and expand our outreach nationwide by coordinating with various government and non-government agencies to achieve various goals and targets.  

As we move together and make ourselves proud as noble custodians of child welfare with all our value-added contribution by maintaining our mother body in order and just, let us all add to the legacy and embrace innovation in future too by working together to ensure and improve the health of children in our country
