Through this circular letter we invite nomination for the post of Editor–in–Chief of Indian Pediatrics
NOTICE
TO ALL LIFE MEMBERS OF IAP
The tenure of the present Editor-in-Chief of Indian Pediatrics will conclude on 31st December 2026.
Applications are hereby invited from interested candidates for the position of Editor-in-Chief, Indian Pediatrics for the term 1st January 2027 to 31st December 2029.
Applicants must be Life Members of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP). Interested candidates are requested to submit their application along with a brief biodata (not exceeding 400 words).
The appointment will be made by the Executive Board of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics at its forthcoming meeting.
IAP’s Constitutional provisions related to selection / election of Editor-in-Chief
2. OFFICES
2.2 The Editorial Office of the Journal, “Indian Pediatrics” shall be situated at 115/4, Ground Floor, Gautam Nagar, New Delhi-110 049, India.
Corporate Office of the Journal, “Indian Pediatrics” shall be situated at No. 14 (Third Floor), Lobe-2, Tower-A, situated at Plot No. A-41 (known as the CORENTHUM), Sector-62, Noida, District Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
14.16 Nominations for the post of Editor-in-Chief of Indian Pediatrics shall be invited from amongst the Life Members of the Society from anywhere in India. This shall be advertised in all the publications of the Society and by mass mail to all the members at a scheduled time. The nominations shall then be scrutinized by a Committee appointed by the Executive Board, and the Editor-in-Chief shall be appointed/elected by the Executive Board as necessary.
The eligibility criteria for Editor-in-Chief:
(i) He / She must have served in the same Journal (Indian Pediatrics) for at least 6 years either in combination or in isolation as a member of the Editorial Board, Executive Editor, Associate Editor and/or Managing Editor.
(ii) Shall have published at least 50 research publications in PubMed-indexed Journals
Eligible members who wish to be considered for this prestigious position are requested to submit their applications within the prescribed timeline.
We would like to bring to your notice some additional points for submission of nomination & the IAP’s constitutional provisions with regards to selection / election of the Editor-in-Chief of each journal.

The last date for submission of nomination is 30th August 2026.

The nomination should be accompanied by a bank draft or NEFT of Rs.5900/- (with GST) towards nomination fee, in the name of “Indian Academy of Pediatrics” payable at Navi Mumbai. (Bank details attached for net banking)
