This App is intended for use by verified members of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics to access membership resources, digital directories, and educational content.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that identifies you personally only when you voluntarily provide it to us or when it is required to verify your existing membership status.

A. Information Provided by You:

• Login Credentials: We collect your username and password to authenticate your membership.
• Contact Forms: If you use the "Contact Us" or "Get in Touch" features, we collect your Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Membership ID, and the content of your Message/Query.
• Search Data: We process the search queries you enter (e.g., searching for members in the directory) to return relevant results.

B. Information Automatically Collected:

• Device Information: We may collect standard log information such as your device model and operating system version to ensure app compatibility.
• Usage Data: We may track interactions with app features (e.g., video playback) to improve content delivery.

C. Third-Party Data:

• Membership Data: Your profile data (Name, City, State, Membership Number) is fetched from the centralized IAP membership database to display your Digital ID Card and Certificate.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following professional and administrative purposes:

• To verify your identity as a registered IAP member.
• To provide digital services, including downloadable Membership Certificates and Identity Cards.
• To facilitate communication via the Member Directory (allowing members to find professional colleagues).
• To respond to your inquiries submitted through our contact forms.
• To process account deletion requests.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to users. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners and trusted affiliates.

Third-Party Content Providers:

• Video Content: Our App uses YouTube API Services and Vimeo to display educational webinars. By watching videos, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy, as well as Vimeo's Privacy Policy.

5. User Rights and Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data.

• How to Delete: You can request account deletion directly within the App by navigating to the Side Drawer > Delete Account.
• The Process: Upon confirming your request, your User ID is sent to our administration team.
• Timeline: Account closure requests are manually processed and finalized within 2-3 business days. Once processed, your login credentials will be deactivated, and your data will be removed from the active App directory, subject to retention required by IAP organizational bylaws for historical membership records.

6. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

The App may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., news articles, external resources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for professional use by pediatricians and medical practitioners. We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from children under the age of 13.
